First applications to Designation of Excellence
The EACS’ first formal evaluations of two comprehensive cancer centres have been executed during Spring 2017. An international review panel of invited auditors has performed an on-site assessment of institutes that are applying to be designated as 'Comprehensive Cancer Centre of Excellence'. The final report with the review panel’s recommendations are to be submitted to the DoE Standing committee under the lead of Chairman Prof. A Berns, for a decision on possible designation 'CCC of Excellence' during the summer.
