Specialist education

Education must cover all components of the cancer research/care/prevention continuum and be accessible to researchers, cancer specialists, medical and public health professionals from all EU countries to reach the goals of the mission on cancer. We recommend:

• Establish recurrent educational and scientific conferences prepared by the organizations mentioned above.
• Organize theoretical training courses.
• Create a new European comprehensive culture of education, training and lifelong learning.
• Extend the reach of educational courses by arranging participation also through the internet.
